Paul has over 15 years experience working in Architectural Practice and has been working with Architype since 2008.

Paul has been involved in a wide variety of projects for Architype including the UK’s first two Passivhaus Primary Schools, numerous small and large scale housing projects and in 2017 was awarded RIBA West Midlands Project Architect of the Year for the major extension and refurbishment works at St. Michael’s Hospice in Hereford. Paul is now predominantly involved in Architype’s residential projects, most of which are being designed to Passivhaus or low/zero carbon design standards, including the recently completed Callaughtons Ash social housing scheme.

Education

Paul studied at the Welsh School of Architecture at Cardiff University gaining a BSc(Hons) and BArch in Architectural Studies followed by the completion of a Post Graduate Diploma in Architectural Practice at Birmingham City University.
