We are delighted that The Enterprise Centre managed to scoop two trophies at the prestigious British Council for Offices Awards ceremony this week!

The project, which previously won at the regional finals back in April, has now won ‘Best Corporate Workplace’ at national level, and the ‘Best of the Best’ award, covering all categories on the night.

The Enterprise Centre, located on the University of East Anglia campus, offers state-of-the-art office accommodation with Passivhaus performance and comfort to the many local businesses and start-ups that now reside in the building. The judges praised the ‘wide range of highly flexible accommodation with incubation and collaborative spaces for new and developing businesses in a building equipped to deliver for the 21^st century.’

In a joint submission between Architype and BDP, we were able to demonstrate to the judges an early snapshot of the high performance levels of the building. As the monitoring programme continues over the coming years, we look forward to sharing a comprehensive set of results publicly, and disseminating the lessons learned on this groundbreaking project.
