While at Architype Nicola has worked on a wide range of projects including the Entopia building for Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, projects for Imperial War Museum and The Sustainability Centre as well as multiple new build and retrofit education projects across London. Nicola has experience with EnerPHit, BREEAM Outstanding and a specialist interest in circular design and whole life cycle principles.

Nicola spent two years working at Architype as a student and re-joined the company in 2014. She previously worked on the redevelopment of Holy Trinity School, Bessemer Grange Primary, and played a key role in the award winning Sydenham Garden Resource Centre.

As an independent initiative, Nicola helped to deliver an eco-camp feasibility on the island of St. Helena, and volunteered with the charity Article 25 to develop a proposal for an emergency response warehouse in Gaza.

Education

Nicola obtained her undergraduate BA (Hons) from The University of Sheffield. After completing her Part 2 qualification at London Metropolitan University, she obtained her Post Graduate Diploma with distinction from Westminster University.
