This feasibility study proposes to develop a new facility within the County Hall adjoining the Worcester Woods Country Park. The project aims to provide:

• Community and visitor access to interactive information on ecology, bio-diversity and local history

• Exhibition space

• Meeting rooms and office accommodation

The brief was developed through extensive consultation with local groups, agencies, and members of the community.

The design evolved into a dramatic yet inviting building, a ‘Gateway to the County’, built with a sustainable approach to materials and energy.
