Architect & CEPH Designer
Hannah is an Architect with experience in the education, healthcare and residential sectors, and is driven by a passion for sustainable design and a strong sense of social responsibility.
Since joining Architype in 2013, Hannah has worked on a number of school projects with a variety of briefs and budgets. Notably, Hannah was part of the team, which is delivering the first Passivhaus primary school building in Wales. This project also gained her experience of working with the innovative timber construction technique, brettstapel.
Previous roles have seen her working for a number of practices across the UK, with projects ranging from hospital refurbishments to eco-town schemes to £17m secondary schools.
Hannah studied for her BA in Architecture at the University of Plymouth, where her work focused largely on a perceived sense of community and inclusive public space. Hannah completed her MArch at the University of Manchester where she achieved a distinction for her work in community engagement, combatting social exclusion in the area of Hulme in Manchester. Her passion is for social sustainability and exploring alternative models of urban living. In 2014 Hannah completed an Advanced Diploma in Professional Practice with the RIBA.
