A new primary school created by the amalgamation of an existing infants school and separate junior school onto the junior school site. In order to bring together the two schools, major upgrading of the presently substandard buildings, and construction of new facilities is being undertaken. Architype’s design solution includes:

• A new welcoming entrance, giving the school a contemporary image

• Extending undersized classrooms, addressing glare and overheating

• Creating a variety of landscaped play areas
