Architype

Rapiere; a pioneering new software developed by Architype in collaboration with GreenspaceLive, ChapmanBDSP and Sweett Group has been gaining industry recognition in recent weeks, nominated for two prestigious awards.

Rapiere is a cloud-based software that is the only next-generation, early design stage, BIM compatible solution that simultaneously performs cost, energy and carbon analysis. The platform is unique in combining all three elements of cost, energy and carbon emissions analysis for any early stage scenario, and is able to synchronize with a large range of existing computer-based building design tools.

Shortlisted for ‘Collaboration Champion of the Year’ in the Consultancy & Engineering Awards 2016, Rapiere was announced winner of the group at the awards ceremony in London on the 24^th May.

The software has also been shortlisted for ‘Best Use of Technology’ as part of Architype’s submission to the AJ100 listing, which will be revealed on the 8^th June.

Architype used Rapiere extensively in the design for the Enterprise Centre at the University of East Anglia. We modeled the embodied carbon of the design options over the next 87 years, in-line with future climate data collected.
