Kicking-off the celebratory launch of our website and refreshed look, it only seems appropriate that the theme of this blog be a tribute of Architype’s full and visionary past as well as pastures new! In this, our 30^th Year of practice, we are proud to share with you our precedent and live projects via our new online platform, which we hope will provide a comprehensive insight to our approach and commitment to sustainable design.

Visualising our Architype journey with the guidance of designers Aloof, has been a joyful and reflective process; inciting recognition of our achievements, nostalgia and refinement of our values and beliefs.  The timeline that spans from our early self-build projects, through to our learning and broad implementation of Passivhaus has informed the intrinsic details of our ethos and evolution, and this is what we present to you under our refreshed look.

The past year has been filled with great positivity, winning some key projects and delivering some real innovation in tough economic climates. Consequently our team has grown substantially across both offices; all thanks due to them, their dynamic and diverse skill set and their relentless hard work and passion.

With the possibilities for the year ahead showing equal amounts of potential, we are delighted to share with you our highlights. Alongside the professional aspects of Architype, you can expect plenty of celebration and festivity in varying shapes and forms as we mark our 30^th Birthday in true Architype fashion!
